Where Can You Drop Off Your Glass?

We are currently on winter hours: Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, 10am-Noon, at 240 C St.  (In April we will resume our events every Tuesday, from 9-noon.)

Walla Walla: Airport Complex, 240 C St.

Benton City: Hedges Family Estate Winery, 53511 N Sunset Rd

Public drop offs will come with a small tipping fee. Otherwise, you can become a member and pay less per pound of drop off, have a say in the running of the organization, and get an annual environmental impact report.  To see more about becoming a member, click HERE.

 

HOW IT WORKS:

Glass is collected at our spokes, transported to a central hub in Pasco where it will shipped in large quantities to Seattle and Portland MRF's for sorting and transfer to their local glass manufacturers.  Because we collect very clean glass, glass manufacturers pay more, which helps offset some of our costs. 

VOLUNTEERS:

We rely heavily on volunteer labor each week at our Walla Walla spoke, in order to efficiently offload the glass people bring us. If you are interested in volunteering (and we hope you are!), please contact us so that we can coordinate volunteer schedules.
